Turn Your Books into Classroom Impact

Books have the power to spark imagination, ignite curiosity, and open doors to new worlds. But did you know your gently used books can do even more than entertain? When you donate your books, you’re helping fund classroom grants that support teachers, students, and creativity in learning.

At Small Press Publishing, we believe every book has a second life—and every donation can make a real difference in the classroom.

Why Donate Books?

Classrooms are constantly in need of resources, from supplies to books that enrich lessons and foster creativity. Many teachers go above and beyond with personal funds to provide their students with these materials. Your donated books help bridge that gap.

Every book you give:

  • Becomes part of our quarterly used book sales, where all proceeds go directly to funding classroom grants.

  • Helps teachers bring creative projects and ideas to life.

  • Supports our mission of “books that give back”, connecting readers like you to classrooms in need.

How It Works

Donating your books is simple, and we make it easy for you:

  1. Gather your books – All gently used books are welcome.

  2. Donate – Drop them off, bring them to a local book drive, or let us help coordinate a pickup.

  3. Fund classrooms – Books are resold through our community sales, with 100% of proceeds going directly to classroom grants.

It’s a win-win: your books find new homes, and students get the tools and resources they need to thrive.

Quarterly Used Book Sales

One of our most exciting events is our quarterly in-person used book sale. These sales bring the community together to celebrate reading while supporting local classrooms. From rare finds to beloved classics, every book contributes to funding grants for teachers.

We love seeing the impact firsthand—teachers using grants to launch creative classroom projects, students discovering new stories, and the community feeling connected through shared generosity.

Book Drives and Pickups

Don’t have time to drop off your books? No problem. We are happy to coordinate pickups in most cases. You can also host a book drive at your school, workplace, or community space. It’s a fun and meaningful way to get others involved, build awareness, and multiply the impact of your generosity.

Why It Matters

When you donate books, you’re not just clearing space on your shelves—you’re investing in students’ futures. Each donation supports teachers, fosters creativity, and helps ensure that every classroom has the resources it needs to thrive.

By connecting readers and classrooms, we create a community where generosity, learning, and creativity come full circle.
